General Rules of Admission
- Candidates and their parents / guardians are expected to read the prospectus carefully before applying for admission.
- Admission to the various classes is made strictly on MERIT. The merit shall be determined on the basis of marks in all subjects taken by the candidates. In case the marks of two or more students are the same, the age factor will decide the merit the older the senior.
- The admission forms shall have separate columns for the father’s and mother’s names. The name of mother along with name of the father shall be mentioned in all the records.
- It shall be the sole discretion of the Principal / Management to admit or not to admit the detained students of the college.
- Students disqualified by any University / Board shall not be admitted to the school. Such students need not apply for admission.
Theory Examinations Regulations
For B.Sc. Nursing
- Acandidate must have minimum of 80% attendance (irrespective of the kind of absence) in theory and practical in each course/subject for appearing for examination.
- Acandidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas before award of degree.
- Acandidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper
- If a candidate fails in either theory or practical, he/she has to re-appear for both the papers (Theory and Practical).
The candidate shall appear for exams in each semester:
- The candidate shall have cleared all the previous examinations before appearing for fifth semester examination. However, the candidates shall be permitted to attend the consecutive semesters.
- The candidate shall have cleared all the previous examinations before appearing for seventh semester examination. However, the candidates shall be permitted to attend the consecutive semesters.
- The candidate shall have cleared all the previous examination before appearing for final year examination.
- The maximum period to complete the course successfully should not exceed 8 years.
For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
- A minimum of 80% Attendance in theory and Practical in each subject is essential for appearing in the examination
- 100% attendance in practical in each clinical area is essential before award of degree.
- 50% of minimum marks in each theory and practical paper separately is required for passing.
For General Nursing and Midwifery
- Shall have one regular examination followed by supplementary examination in a year.
- Minimum pass marks should be 50%in each of the Theory and practical paper separately.
- Acandidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper.
- If a candidate fails in either theory or practical paper he/she has to re-appear for both the papers (Theory and Practical)

Practical Examinations Regulations
- All practical examinations conducted in the respective clinical areas. Internal and one external examiner should jointly conduct practical examination for each student.
